On November 1st & 2nd, 2013, a City-Wide Love Exchange, "A Call to Unity" was held in Martinsburg, WV.  The guest servants were Jim & Carla Barbarossa, from Beyond the Box Community Outreach Ministries in Porter, Indiana.  From the start on Friday night, with the welcoming of the presence of God through Worship Dance and Praise and Worship from the River's Edge Ministries, the anointing of God was so very powerful.  The presence of God was divine and heavenly.  The teachings on Friday & Saturday were breath-taking and an overwhelming sense of determination to see unity in the Body of Christ was released upon all in attendance.  What excitement it is to be a part of God's plan for this time in the earth.  Praise God for all that He has done and will do.

Time Well Spent
My husband and I retired a few years ago and we made Martinsburg, WV our new home.  Retirement has allowed us the luxury of enjoying free time.  During a walk downtown, I noticed a sign in the window of the Church Without Walls Ministries (CWWM) that said they were in need of donations.  My first thought was "I wonder what this organization is about and how can I get involved?"  I went inside.  Initially, we decided to help by donating to CWWM's clothing "wear"house.  We spent some time collecting, sorting, washing and delivering usable clothing, toys, and household goods.  We later learned that CWWM also maintains a food pantry for the needy.  My husband and I began contributing food on a regular basis and have encouraged our neighbors to do the same.  As time went on we got to know the staff and they educated us to the many other services they provide the people of my community. They feed their minds and souls with hope through spiritual guidance and counseling services.  What have I gotten from my CWWM experience?  Over the years, my husband and I have participated in worthy charity drives at our work, through various organizations and schools, but we rarely got to witness the end result.  Every time I have been in CWWM I have observed deserving individuals and families receiving assistance, kindness and hope. I can see for myself these valuable resources going directly back into the community I live in.  My husband and I agree it has been time well spent.

What A Blessing!!!!!!
The very first effort to raise money in the form of a fundraiser ("fun"raiser) was held on Friday, April 11, at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg, WV.  The Holiday Inn Team had everything beautifully arranged as requested.  Over 100 people from different facets, churches, etc., were in attendance.  The group that shared their musical talents was "Atmosphere" from the Baltimore, MD., area, lead by Kevin Patterson.  They were anointed and talented (what a blessing). The solo from Thomas Wright brought tears to our eyes; Charles Marshall shared his testimony and gave poetic expressions that had all eyes and ears upon him....God used him in a special way to touch our hearts.  The Worship Dance Team, lead by Jennifer Kellogg  from Covenant Church in Shepherdstown danced to "Behold the Lamb".  It truly caused many to rise to their feet in honor of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.  The theme of the event was:  "Come Alive" Easter Celebration.  Through the Worship dance,  all in attendance where pointed to the true meaning of Easter.  A sincere thanks was expressed to everyone for making this event successful.  The proceeds went toward the God's Storehouse Food Ministry and the Financial Assistance Outreach.  The plans are  to make this an annual event.  What a Blessing!!!

Tribute of Light!!!
Our very first "Tribute of Light", a Holiday remembrance of lost loved ones and those special intentions, was held on December 12, 2014.   36 loved ones were remembered.  The luminary bags were beautiful.  It was a very special time and very touching!!!  This will be an annual event to show those in our community that we care about their loved ones. The luminary bags will remained on display at the Ministry House until December 28th,.
