Rufus Burton has been the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Martinsburg, West Virginia, since 2003.  A graduate of DePauw University and Princeton Seminary, Rufus spent two years in ministry before pursuing a PhD in Dogmatic Theology at King’s College in London.  While he was completing his research degree, he took the call to First Church.  Since then, Rufus has been active in the local, regional and national ministries of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and is a steady presence in local ministerial work.  Currently, Rufus is co-host, with R.C. Coyle, of "The Apostle’s Call"; a weekly radio broadcast of God Won Ministries.  A Presbyterian by birth, education, conviction and experience, Rufus is always happy to open and share the Word of God.  Raising four children, Rufus and his wife keep busy with the Boy Scouts.
